Company: Insurance world leader, based in Switzerland.

Project: Digitization of life insurance claims processing.

Solution: Customized AMSS Broker software.

Problem:To process a single claim, the insurance department used to take 30 days while making use of 17 different systems that weren’t well-integrated.

Solution: ITPower mapped all existing processes and proposed a series of automation mechanisms and rules to improve efficiency, streamline processes and reduce processing time.

Results: The insurer now has a single system for recording and processing all claims. ITPower has reduced claims processing time by 43%, from 30 days to 13 days. The system has also made it easier to track data – which facilitates the work of compliance and audits. Company: Brazil’s second largest insurance company, with more than 7 million users.

Project: Digitalization of customer service operations.

Problem: The flow of customer service operations was very slow, with 405 activities carried out manually, which had a negative impact on the timing of operations and consequently on the company’s reputation.

Solution: ITPower integrated the AMSS (CRM) BPM solution with the insurer’s 7 legacy systems via API and RPA, implementing rules mechanisms for automated decision-making.

Results: The original 405 manual activities were transformed into 38 automated and 10 manual activities. The customized BPM AMSS (CRM) solution completely eliminated 395 manual activities, drastically reducing customer service times, increasing efficiency and improving the customer experience.

Case 4

Company: Swedish manufacturer of household appliances and Brazilian logistics market leader.

Project:Optimize the importation and distribution of household appliances and components coming from China to Brazil.

Problem: Ordering, logistics control, and customs processes were complex and time-consuming, given that 100% of the parts came directly from China.

Solution: ITPower integrated the AMSS BPM solution (CMP) and VMI.

Implementation:The implementation of the solutions enabled the home appliance manufacturer to place orders directly in the VMI system. The system is integrated with the Brazilian customs government agencies and also displays a dashboard that indicates the status of all shipments in an intuitive manner by color – green, yellow, and red – which reflects real-time monitoring to facilitate decision-making regarding shipments stopped at customs. The platform also automatically calculates the taxes payable on all shipments.

Results: The integrated solution has made it easier to import household appliances, monitor logistics, and mitigate overall importation risks. It brought more agility to the import process, a 360 real-time overview, operational optimization, and greater logistical efficiency.
